Srinagar, March 15, 2026: Renowned socio-political activist Syed Irfan Hashmi today commended Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha for a landmark initiative that brings hope and justice to the families of terror victims and departed government employees. In a heartfelt gesture, the LG personally handed over appointment letters, marking a pivotal step toward healing wounds inflicted by violence and loss.
I am resolute in securing justice for every terror victim’s family, and all pending cases will be reopened to hold the perpetrators accountable,” said LG Manoj Sinha. We have succeeded in dispelling the shadow of injustice and ushering a new dawn of justice at the doorsteps of terror victims’ families. To date, around 400 Next of Kin (NoKs) have received employment, and this effort will continue relentlessly until we reach the very last family still awaiting justice.”
Syed Irfan Hashmi emphasized that this move not only restores dignity and livelihood to grieving families but also reinforces Jammu and Kashmir’s commitment to accountability and compassion in governance. This is more than employment it’s a promise fulfilled, a beacon of resolve against terror,” he added.
