Baramulla: In a proactive initiative to address pressing public issues and developmental concerns in the district, JDU State General Secretary Ayaz Darwi along with noted socio-political activist Syed Irfan Hashmi today met Syeed Fakhrudin Hamid, Deputy Commissioner Baramulla.
During the meeting, the leaders highlighted a range of public grievances and developmental demands, including infrastructure needs and various social challenges affecting the daily lives of residents across the district. The interaction aimed at bridging the gap between grassroots concerns and administrative action.
Both leaders appreciated the Deputy Commissioner for his proactive approach and accessibility to the public, expressing hope that the administration would continue addressing genuine concerns with urgency.
Speaking on the occasion, Ayaz Darwi said,
“We commend the DC’s commitment to resolving genuine public issues on priority. Such collaborative efforts between the administration and public representatives will greatly benefit the people of Baramulla.”
Socio-political activist Syed Irfan Hashmi emphasized the importance of safeguarding public resources and said,
“Protecting government land and other public resources for vital community needs remains our priority. We assure our full support for swift and transparent action.”
The meeting reflected a shared resolve between civil society and the district administration to effectively address district-level challenges and ensure the welfare of the people.
