Kashmir:The National President of the Indian Chambers of Commerce for SC, ST, and Women Entrepreneurs, Sh. Subir Paul, paid a courtesy visit to the Honourable Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir, Sh. Manoj Sinha. The organising secretary of the Indian Chambers of Commerce for SC, ST, and Women Entrepreneurs, Mr. Virendra Kumar, and the President of Kashmir Unit, Sh. Adil Modi, were also present during this meeting. During this meeting, it was decided that a “Kashmiri Entrepreneur Summit” would be organized in Srinagar, and the summit would be inaugurated by the Honourable Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir, Sh. Manoj Sinha.
The main objective of the Kashmiri Entrepreneur Summit is to inspire MSME units and help them take advantage of government schemes. The summit aims to assist groups in upgrading their SHGs to MSME units and availing government schemes. Self-help groups will be encouraged to upgrade to MSME units and take benefits from government schemes. The government schemes aim to create awareness among SC, ST, and women entrepreneurs in rural and remote areas about developing their MSME units.
The primary focus is on the manufacturing, processing, production, preservation, and marketing of goods and commodities. Business enterprises play a significant role in the socio-economic development of SC, ST, and women entrepreneurs. In this context, business enterprises are crucial for the socio-economic development of SC, ST, and women entrepreneurs in Kashmir.
