KASHMIR.”The Shia community, particularly its youth, necessitates investment in education, development, and peace, rather than endless infighting among a few individuals over trivial issues in Kashmir,” emphasizes Syed Karar Hashmi, a prominent socio-political activist and student at Hawza-Ilmia Qom.
Agha Syed Karar Hashmi stressed that perpetual internal disputes among a handful of individuals over peripheral matters hinder the community’s progress, squandering its potential. “When we focus on internal squabbles over issues irrelevant to our next generation’s well-being, we distract ourselves from what truly matters,” he notes. “Youth must reject this distraction and demand a shift in focus towards building a future defined by knowledge, growth, and stability.”
In a statement to the press, Hashmi defines a true leader as one who channels resources and energy into creating opportunities for youth, ensuring their future is marked by progress and peace, not internal conflicts. “It’s time to prioritize the real needs of our community, such as quality education for youth, poverty alleviation programs, development, progress, and peace,” he urges.
Hashmi calls upon all stakeholders to transcend factionalism and unite behind tangible initiatives that empower young people and foster genuine community development. “The future belongs to our young people, not to petty disputes,” he asserts. “We must focus on concrete actions that uplift and empower the next generation, building a brighter future for our community.”
